Lasithi Plateau & Zeus Cave

Visit this luscious green plateau captured in the center of the Dikti mountains once scattered with 10,000 white-sailed windmills, which traditionally irrigated the surrounding land, where for many time has stood still for the past 100 years.
A short climb will bring you to the Dikti Cave where Zeus, Father of the Greek Gods was born, this will take you into the heart of the mountain to uncover mythological stories of the ancient stalagmites and stalactites.
A chance to buy some of the local handmade souvenirs or some of the exquisite pottery will be given to you in the village of Trapsano.
During the trip a break for lunch (optional, at extra charge) in tavern in Seli is planned.
We will also give you the opportunity to taste some of the delicious wines and learn about the characteristics of olive oil in the Eco Park Lasinthos. You will be able to buy there whatever you prefer at good prices.
One of the stops on the scenic route will be monastery Αgarathos – one of the most important places of worship on Crete.
